About the challenge

Qiskit fall fest is an annual event, where quantum computing challenges are given. These prompts have a goal - get as close as you can, but if you can't get something that's complete just submit a demo and your github anyways!

Judging Criteria

  • Technical Aspects (30 pts)
    How complex is the quantum algorithm? Is it well optimized? How accessible is the application? Did the team utilize significant portions of the Qiskit SDK, Qiskit Runtime, or other components of the Qiskit ecosystem?
  • Originality and Uniqueness (25 pts)
    How unique is this project? Did the team attempt something new/difficult?
  • Usefulness and Complexity (25 pts)
    How useful is the project, and how well designed is it? How functional is it - can it be used in the real world for business applications or serve as a valuable tool for individuals? How can the project be built out or refined upon?
  • Presentation (20 pts)
    How well did the team present their project? Were they able to explain their decisions and tell a cohesive story?
